SOL Pep Rally is today!

 

The Leesburg Tree Commission will be here this afternoon at 1:30pm to plant two trees to celebrate Arbor Day.  Members of the Leesburg Town Council and the Leesburg Mayor may also be in attendance.  The trees will be planted between

House B and House C.  Many thanks to Helen DeGroot, Muditha Karunaratne, Marian Zane and our Ecology students for helping to make this happen!

 

6th grade band:  You had an awesome rehearsal yesterday!  Your next one is Monday, after school, on stage.

 

Jazz band:  you are performing at the pep rally today….report to the band room at 1:45 to get equipment to the gym.

 

Harper Park is pleased to announce that Scott Stewart is the winner of the Virginia State You Be the Chemist Challenge.  Scott will be traveling to Philadelphia at the end of June to compete in the National Competition.

 

Any participation in the chemist challenge that did not pick up their  T-Shirt last night should come down to Mrs. Gould’s home room this morning. 

 

Harper Park Live will not be on air this Friday or the next several Fridays.  There will be two more shows that last two weeks of school.  Club members will not meet during this break.

 

 

Cafeteria Announcement:

Starting May 7th,  ONLY 1 CHARGE POLICY

Starting May 28th – NO CHARGE POLICY

Please pay off any charges you have with the cafeteria.  Thank you.

 

Please welcome our DASH (Dads At School Helping) dad, Scott McSchaffrey, father of Cameron in 8th grade.  Mr. McSchaffrey and his son, Cameron, helped Mr. Shipp with the morning announcements today.  Mr. McSchaffrey, we hope you enjoy your day at Harper Park.
