The art program is based on the Loudoun County Public Schools’ Art Standards of Achievement (SOAs). Students meet once a week for 60 minutes. During that time students are instructed on studio process, personal expression, visual arts vocabulary, art production, art history, art criticism and aesthetics. A variety of tools and mediums will be used including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpting, collage, and ceramics. Students will also learn about world-famous artists, art movements, and arts in different cultures.
