Hello! I am Jennifer Staples.
The 2012-2013 school year will be my seventh year teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools. I had four years of experience teaching fifth grade at Cool Spring Elementary and I have two years of experience here at Potowmack, one year in third grade and one in fifth grade. I studied education at George Mason University. First, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies, then my Collegiate Professional License in Elementary Education PK-6, and in Spring 2010, I finally completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am from Berryville, Virginia. I lived on my family's farm there until I moved to Leesburg a few years ago. I often go home to visit my parents, my brother and sister-in-law, and my little neice and nephew who still live there.

I love animals, and my favorite are pigs. I also enjoy sports, especially volleyball. I play on a recreational team and join pick-up games whenever I can. I like to watch football and root for my favorite team, the Redskins!
Finally, I love teaching, and I am very excited to continue working with all the incredible students, parents, teachers, and staff here at Potowmack! Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
