Rebecca Hitrik

I am very excited to be the librarian at Horizon Elementary School. I have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Catholic University, a Bachelor's in Political Science, and my certification in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Before becoming a school librarian, I taught History and Language Arts at Seneca Ridge and Eagle Ridge Middle School. This will be my 17th year in Loudoun County. I am excited to share my love of reading with the students and invite them to come along on our many reading adventures together. Please contact me with any questions.

Fannie Owens

Fannie has been the library assistant at Horizon for four years. She came to Horizon with 10 years of experience with Loudoun County Public Schools. Fannie has worked with special education students in LCPS. She likes working with children and enjoys sharing her love of reading with children.
