Candidate Care Program

Since October 2004, Loudoun County Public Schools' Candidate Care Program has worked to create a smooth transition from "Applicant" to "Teacher." Through this program, prospective teachers find support throughout the hiring process from an assigned Candidate Care Ambassador. These Ambassadors, selected from retired and current administrators, assist applicants who receive an "Intent to Employ" with all aspects of the hiring process -- from licensure to relocation.
