School Construction Overview:

As the fastest growing school division in the Commonwealth, Loudoun County Public Schools must continue to build new schools and remodel older facilities to accommodate the county's current and future school-age population. Public school enrollment has more than doubled from the 19,967 students reported a decade ago to over 63,220 pupils enrolled in September 2010 .

Our Mission Statement:

Provide management and oversight for the implementation of the Capital Improvements Program.
Assist in the evaluation of sites for new schools.
Prepare plans and specifications for the construction and renovation of new and existing facilities.
Implement a continuous evaluation process of existing plans and specifications to ensure parity of all school facilities.
Provide a safe, secure, and appropriate physical environment in which the educational process can take place.
