The Music Department at Eagle Ridge continues to offer students the choice of chorus, string orchestra and band in 6th, 7th and 8th grade, guitar in 7th and 8th grade, and music lab in grade 6. Additionally, interested students can play in the Eagle Ridge Jazz Band, sing in Cantare, and play in the Chamber Orchestra. Each year in May, the 8th grade guitar ensemble, chorus, strings, band, and jazz band travel to Hershey park to compete in a music festival. Eagle Ridge’s Music Department continues to receive many outstanding awards and recognition for their participation in these festivals.
