Ramon H. Rodriguez was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic located in the Northern part of the island of the Hispaniola. His parents lived for over the 20 years in St. Croix which is part of the Virgin Islands. He remained in the Dominican Republic and was raised by his Grandmother while attending school. In 1985 he moved to Norfolk with his mother and siblings. He has lived in Virginia for over 25 years.

He joined the United States Navy for four years and was part of the Gulf War. He worked as an Aviation Fuel Specialist, ABF2, and was stationed on the amphibious ship USS Nassau LHA-4. In 1995 he moved to Northern Virginia, where he met his wife and started a family. He worked for 15 years at a retirement community located in Northern Virginia. Currently he is working for Loudoun County Public School as bus driver and lives with his wife of 15 years and his two children in Lovettsville, VA. His wife owns the Thrifty Sister Store located in the heart of the Lovettsville town.
