Welcome to J.W. Tolbert, Jr. Elementary School. The 2012-2013 school will be our twelfth year of operation. We are proud of our students and teachers at Tolbert. We pride ourselves on academic excellence in a safe and nurturing environment. We value the many cultures that make up the Tolbert community and are excited about the year ahead. We welcome our new families and invite you to become involved in the many activities here. Our Watch Dogs and other parent volunteers to work with students at all grade levels. We host many activities that welcome families to our building on a regular basis.

Good communication is the key to a successful education. We encourage you to get involved in your child's education, communicate regularly with the teacher, and help your child have regular and timely attendance.
