Mrs. Marisol Duff is a career switcher specializing in teaching foreign languages. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages.  According to Mrs. Duff, a career in education is an act of social responsibility: "I decided to make a career change and use my professional, academic and cultural background to make a difference in the lives of children and their communities".

Mrs. Duff  was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she practiced law for many years until she moved to the USA in 1989 . She attended the American University of Washington DC and received a Master of Public Administration in 1993.  Upon graduation and later marriage, Mrs. Duff established her residence in Virginia.  She lives in Ashburn  with her husband and their two varsity volleyball players daughters. Mrs. Duff hobbies include singing, playing chess and backgammon, and most importantly, watching her girls' volleyball games.

Due to budget decisions for the fiscal year 2012-2013 that impacted the FLES program, Spanish instruction in elementary schools will be delivered only to students in grades 4 and 5 during 30 minutes every week.

Mrs. Duff is looking forward to continue contributing to your child's future through foreign language acquisition.
