If you have just moved to Loudoun County and need to register your child/ren for the 2015-16 School year for Grades KG-12, registration forms are available at the school or printable versions below. Please contact the school that serves your address for an appointment to start the registration process. For KG registration, Virginia law requires that your child be 5 years old by September 30, 2015 to register and attend public kindergarten. As another option, you can also access the NEW online Pre-Registration portal for NEW 2015-16 school year registrations. Please make sure that you select the 2015-2016 school year. First Day of School for the 2016-17 school year will be August 29, 2016
If your child is currently attending LCPS (grades KG-11), you will NOT need to "re-register" or "pre-register" your child for the 2016-17 school year.
2016-17 Kindergarten information: Virginia law requires that your child be 5 years old by September 30, 2016 to register and attend public kindergarten.
All registrations will take place at the school zoned for your home address. Registrations for Madison's Trust will be by appointment at the school offices in the LCPS Administration Offices, 21000 Education Ct., Ashburn, VA 20148 (703) 957-4470.
You will have 2 options available when registering your student for the 2016-17 school year!
--A NEW online Pre-registration process is now open for the 2016-17 school year.
*If you are a parent of a current student, you will use your ParentVue account to access the online Pre-Registration portal. If you have not activated your ParentVue account, please contact your child's school for your activation key and directions.
*New families will create their account from the online Pre-Registration portal. You can access the NEW online Pre-Registration portal for NEW 2016-17 school year registrations. Please make sure that you select the 2016-2017 school year. FAQs, helpful videos and additional how-to documents can be found on the ParentVue online Pre-Registration information page. Registration appointments for grades KG-12 will be accepted by contacting your school once the pre-registration is complete. Contact your school for available appointment options. Madison's Trust can be reached at 703-957-4470. Registration will not be finalized until all documentation has been accepted in person by the school.

Documents Needed for Registration in Loudoun County Public Schools
o Name of the parent registering the child must be on the birth certificate
o Photo identification of the parent/guardian registering the child
o Cards with name and age of the student are not sufficient proof of the identification of the person enrolling the student
o If the student has had a name change due to adoption or other reasons, the school must have a signed copy of the court order acknowledging the change
o For Parents/Guardians Residing in Loudoun County
- A signed lease, signed deed, signed settlement papers, recent mortgage statement, or deed of trust
- If the parent/guardian enrolling the student is sharing a home with another resident of Loudoun County,
· The parent/guardian must obtain the signature of the person who owns or rents the residence
· The owner/tenant must provide proof of residency by submitting a signed lease, signed deed, signed settlement papers, recent mortgage statement, or deed of trust
o In addition, the enrolling parent/guardian may be asked to produce the following documents to verify the address: motor vehicle registration, voter registration card, bank statement (not checks) within the past two months, state or federal income tax records, W-2 form, or utility bills within the past two months
