April was National Poetry Month ....

 

So many students and staff members participated in Poem in Your Pocket that we're continuing into May!

Here at Hamilton, we roved around school with our video camera (actually, an iPhone!) in hand, and filmed anyone caught with a POEM IN THEIR POCKET. Poetry readings are being aired on WHAM, and will be available on our library web page soon.  

 

 

What's Poem in Your Pocket? 

 

We asked students to tuck a poem in their pocket every day throughout the month of April.  Some students brought poems they made up, and  some copied favorite poems by their favorite poets.
