R.E.A.C.H. stands for Recognizing, Engaging, Advocating, Challenging and Helping
This program is designed to engage elementary school students in activities that will build self esteem and promote academic excellence. The program is being piloted for eight weeks, starting January 15th. elementary students will be paired with high school students to read, complete specially designed lessons and recieve homework assistance. We will meet at the Rust Library in Leesburg in the story room from 2:30-3:30. Parents must fill out a form in order for thier child to participate.

Week Two (January 22th) – What I Like About Me (Self Image)
Week Three (January 29th) – Strengths and Areas of Need (A starting point)
Week Four (February 5th) – Setting Goals and Reaching Them
Week Five (February 12th) – How to Deal with Conflict
Week Six (February 19th) – Standing Up for What is Right
Week Seven (February 26th) – Time Management (A balancing act)
Week Eight (March 4th) – Giving Back
