STAY ORGANIZED

Ø  Put things in their proper places the first time you are asked to do so.

Ø  Put materials away at the end of class before leaving the classroom.

Ø  Return any borrowed materials as soon as you are finished using them or at the end of class.

Ø  Copy your homework and upcoming events into your agenda daily.

TRY YOUR BEST

Ø  You must copy anything written on the board or promethean into your notebook when directed to do so.

Ø  All students are required to complete all homework assignments.  Late credit will be decided on a case by case basis.

Ø  Homework is due when assigned.  Bring it to class in your binder, notebook, or folder.

Ø  Keep a positive attitude and a sense of humor.

Ø  Promptly contact your teacher if you have any problems with the class:  either academic or otherwise.  You may e-mail each of us at the address below.

ARRIVE ON TIME AND PREPARED

Ø  Teachers will follow the school-wide tardy policy.  Be in your seat working when the bell rings.  Arriving with a hall pass counts as an excused tardy.

Ø  If tardy, be humble.  Quietly get to work and attempt to catch up without distracting students around you.

Ø  Bring your textbook, notebook or binder, and a pen or pencil to class EVERYDAY.

Ø  Be ready to work as soon as you arrive.

Ø  Students will remain in class until dismissed by the teacher, and not by the bell.

RESPECT AND SUPPORT EVERYONE

Ø  Show respect for your classmates.  Please don’t talk or make distracting noises while others are speaking (including your teachers).

Ø  Quietly raise your hand and wait for the teacher to call on you.

Ø  Support your classmates when they have both successes and failures.  They will return the favor.

Ø  Complete your work yourself.  If absent in a previous class, follow appropriate procedures for making up work.
