We begin the year with a review of the properties of algebra and the arithmetic of real numbers which include integers and fractions.  We will discover how to solve one and two step equations.  LInear functions will be explored and graphed on the coordinate plane.  The course also includes introductory probability and geometry.  This course does have an SOL test as well as a midterm and final.
