Hello, I am Tina Kiyfes and am one of the Kindergarten teachers at Mill Run Elementary. You might recognize me as the teacher in the "Gingerbread Class". I have been at Mill Run since the opening of the school in 1999-2000. Previous to that I was a Kindergarten teacher at Potowmack Elementary in Cascades and Middleburg Elementary in Middleburg, both in Loudoun County. I have also taught Kindergarten in South Carolina, Georgia and California. While living in Connecticut, I taught a pre-kindergarten class for two years. Overall, I have 25 years of teaching experience. As you can imagine, I love working with young children.

When I am not teaching, I am a dedicated wife and mom, devoting every extra minute to my family. My husband and I have two sons. Both attended Loudoun County Public Schools for their entire school career. Our youngest son is now a junior at Radford University and our oldest is a recent graduate from West Virginia University and is now employed by Marriot, International. We find ourselves spending any extra time visiting our sons, attending college sports events and resting at Lake Anna. My family and I have lived in the Ashburn area for 18 years where I have had the pleasure of being a part of Loudoun County's fast growth and loving it!
