Mrs. Decker is very excited to share her fifteenth year of teaching with you! This will be her eleventh year at Lovettsville Elementary, and her fourteenth year in Loudoun County. Previously, she taught special education to fourth and fifth grade students in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Mrs. Decker is originally from a suburb north of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Special and Elementary Education from Duquesne University. In 1998, she relocated to Sterling, Virginia. Before transferring to Lovettsville, she taught second grade at Horizon Elementary School. Later, Mrs. Decker earned a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from George Mason University.

Mrs. Decker resides in Charles Town with her husband, six year old daughter, and four year old son. She is so excited to be a part of your child's educational journey!
