Mrs. Neville is a fourth generation teacher. She follows in the footsteps of her mother, her grandmother and her great-grandmother. Her great-grandmother, for whom she is named, taught in a one room school on the Illinois prairie in the 1890s.
Mrs. Neville has been the part time TRT at Lincoln for six years. You will find her at Lincoln on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As TRT, she is responsible for managing software programs (SuccessMaker, Accelerated Reader, Type to Learn, etc.) and working with teachers and students to integrate technology into the curriculum.
Mrs. Neville has taught for 38 years (25 in Loudoun County) and holds a BA Degree in English Literature from William Smith College (Geneva, NY) and an MEd. in Special Education from The University of Virginia. Before becoming a TRT, Mrs. Neville taught Special Education at Blue Ridge Middle School for 13 years. Before moving to Loudoun County in 1985, she served as teacher, assistant principal and principal in Warren County, VA. Mrs. Neville holds eleven teaching endorsements. She lives in Leesburg with her husband and 2 canines (Radar and Jake ) She has one child and three step-children as well as 5 step grandchildren. Mrs. Neville loves reading and hates housecleaning and shopping (except on the internet). She has been active in community groups including The Growing Stage, The Loudoun Border Guards Fife and Drum Corps, The Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company and the Stone Bridge High School Music Boosters. She is a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
