Welcome! I will be teaching fifth grade at Hutchison Farm Elementary School during the 2012 ~ 2013 school year. This will be my eighth year teaching in Loudoun County and tenth year teaching overall. I grew up mostly in Virginia, but did spend almost three years in Germany. I settled in Virginia Beach during eighth grade and stayed through college. I attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in education, as well as a Master's degree in Elementary Education. Baking is a passion of mine year round. I enjoy outdoor activities especially in the Fall when the air is crisp and the sun is warm.

Using technology in the classroom is a high priority in my classroom. I'm constantly looking to update my students' technological skills.

I'm looking forward to meeting and working with you ALL this year!
