I am very happy to be teaching kindergarten again at Belmont Station!  This will be my 13th year in Loudoun County.  I received my Bachelors degree from Eastern Illinois University.  I have taught various grade levels in Illinois, Maryland, and Virginia.  I was a kindergarten assistant at Little River Elementary for 3 years and a kindergarten teacher at Belmont Station for the first 5 years.  I have also taught second grade for 3 years at Belmont Station.  I live in Ashburn with my husband Tony.  My two daughters Megan and Kelly are now living out on their own.  I look forward to working with kindergarteners again!

I am thrilled to begin my second year teaching Kindergarten at Belmont Station!  After graduating from Loudoun County Public Schools, I attended Christopher Newport University where I received a Masters degree in Teaching.  I love coaching and playing soccer, running, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  I am looking forward to another wonderful year in Kindergarten!

I am very excited to be working on the kindergarten team as a resource teacher.  I earned a degree in Early Childhood/Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa.  Upon graduation, I taught in a Special Education Program in an elementary school in Hawaii for 3 years.  I  moved to Virginia and taught for a few years in Preschool Special Education and Kindergarten in Fairfax County Public Schools. The next 6 years I worked at a small private school here in Ashburn.  My number one hobby is spending time with my 10 year old son, Colby.  Also in my spare time I love to work out. I am actually a group exercise instructor at a couple local fitness centers.  I am looking forward to making this school year a memorable one!
