Mrs. Edwards

Mrs. Edwards has lived in the Middleburg and Philomont areas all of her life. She has been married for 32 years and has 2 children, a son 31 and a daughter 19. She began teaching in 1970 as a Sunday school teacher, then ran her own pre-school for several years until going to Parks and Rec as a pre-school teacher. She began substitute teaching at Banneker in 1998 and was asked to become a kindergarten assistant in 2000. She has always enjoyed working with children and loves seeing their growth in all of the "firsts" that come along in kindergarten..... learning to read their first book, tying their own shoes, etc. This year, you can also see Mrs. Edwards in the cafeteria assisting at luncht ime!
