Reflections Program 2012-2013

 
Algonkian Elementary PTA is hosting the National PTA Reflections Program for the 2012-2013 school year. This is an optional program that gives students the opportunity to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts.
 
The theme for the 2012-2013 year is "The Magic of a Moment".
 
We are calling all our Algonkian student artists, writers, photographers, film production experts, musicians, and dancers to participate in this year's program.  It’ll be fun and rewarding!  Students can enter as many times as they wish in as many categories as they wish by the due date: Friday, November 9 (extended).
 
Students may submit works in any of the following seven areas:
** Simple, specified guidelines/rules must be followed for the chosen category. (see above)
** Complete Entry Form (one for each work) -- Entries can be turned in to the student’s teacher
     or dropped off any time in the PTA
mailbox at the main office before or on the 
     DUE DATE: Friday, November 9 (extended).
** All participants in the Reflections Program will be recognized at Algonkian.
** Entries are judged and prizes are awarded*.
 
Carefully read through the General Student Participation Rules to obtain more information about the Reflections Program guidelines and rules.
 
Want to win $100?  Submit a theme for the 2014-2015 Reflections Program.  The student who submits the winning entry will receive $100, and his/her theme will be presented at the 2013 PTA National Convention.  Use this Theme Search entry form and submit it to the school as soon as possible!
 
*Reflections Program awards are given at local, council, district, state & national levels.
