ASAP needs YOU to teach a class! -- INSTRUCTORS NEEDED
ASAP classes are taught by Algonkian parents, community members, and vendors. The class selection is different every semester, depending on who signs up to teach. To offer a diverse selection of classes for our children, ASAP needs instructors to share their time and skills. No special training is needed, just bring your enthusiasm! Please consider teaching a class on a topic that you choose!
The session runs six weeks from April 2 thru May 9.
Each class meets for one hour, once a week after school -- 2:50 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. You choose the topic.
Classes will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons.
All classes will be held at Algonkian Elementary.
Instructors will earn $200 for the 6-week session.
You may sign up to teach one, two, or three classes, or the same class for different age groups, on different days.
You may charge an additional supply fee to cover the costs of materials.
NEW: Instructors will NOT be permitted to provide snacks to students.
Return completed forms via email or backpack mail, or turn in forms to the main office (in the red box marked "ASAP") no later than Friday, February 8.
Want to teach? Have questions? For more information or ideas, or to submit your information, email: AlgonkianASAP@gmail.com or contact Robin McQuinn at 703.421.9275 or Natascha Hunter at 703.481.3670.
