Betsy Coffey-Chaudet is the CAST teacher for the Central, LCPS area. 
C.A.S.T. stands for "Community and Schools Together".  It is a Post-Secondary, community-based program for 18-22 year olds with intellectual challenges focusing on vocational development.  Our class meets daily in the Rust Library in Leesburg.  Mrs. Chaudet's office is at THS.
 
Our goal is to teach our young adults to identify, obtain, and keep a job they want, and to pursue their dreams - whether working, taking a college class, or completing a certification program.
We strive to empower our students to become their own best advocates and to develop a network of positive friendships within their community.
