Farmwell Station's Awards and Recognitions

Farmwell Station is proud to have been named a School to Watch by the National Association for Middle School Reform in 2007. Farmwell was redesignated as a school to watch in 2010.

In 2008, the Washington Post Magazine's Educational Review recognized Farmwell Station as one of 30 top-performing middle schools in the Washington region.

In 2008, Virginia governor Tim Kaine instituted the Governor's Award for Educational Excellence

and Farmwell was one of 89 schools in Virginia to earn that prestigious designation.
