I am thrilled to be part of the third grade team at Lowes Island Elementary! Teaching children is a true passion for me as you will notice throughout the year with my lessons and activities.
The following is a little information regarding my educational background.
I graduated with my masters from Marymount University. Upon graduating I worked as an elementary school teacher in Fairfax County for first, second, and third grades. I later moved with my family out to Loudoun where I took a job as a third grade teacher. I then took off some time to raise my children until they were both in full time elementary school. Overall, I have taught for more than 15 years and have enjoyed every minute of it.
I am fortunate to have two wonderful boys who attend school in Loudoun County. They are in fourth and fifth grade. My husband is also part of Loudoun County. He is the principal for Broad Run Highschool.
I am very excited to be teaching third grade at Lowes Elementary. I look forward to meeting everyone very soon.
