Falcon's CARE / Overview

Briar Woods High School has the privilege of hosting an American Cancer Society Relay for Life event on May 2 – May 3. The event will kick off at 12:00 PM on Saturday and conclude at 8:00 AM on Sunday. We would love to see the BWHS community come together to join this amazing event as we raise money to fight Cancer. We have established a team Falcons CARE for any staff, students, and BWHS family member who is interested in participating in this event.

Participates in the event will be able to take part in a number of fun and exciting activities during the Relay including camping, cookouts, games, a luminary, and many, many more wonderful things.

Falcon's C.A.R.E. (Cancer Awareness and Relief Efforts) is a new club at Briar Woods H.S. Started through the efforts of sophomore Cabot Lineberger, a survivor of leukemia, the group is focused on providing support to individuals at Briar Woods who have been affected by cancer. The group is also focused on fund-raising efforts to help those in our community who are suffering from this terrible disease.

Attention Students: Meetings are now held every other Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM - 8:50 AM in room 315. Please join us to find out more about the group and to help our efforts as we give back to our community.
