This is Mrs. Spicer's 32nd year in the history classroom. After all these years, she keeps her energy level high by loving what she does and being inspired by her students.

 

A.P. World History is her speciality;  she is a "reader" on the AP World History exam essays for College Board. Mrs. Spicer sponsors our Academic Team and devotes countless afterschool hours giving review opportunities for our students. This year she is teaching a dual enrollment course with Northern Virginia Community College called "Survey of African History".

 

Mrs. Spicer is an avid Washington Nationals fan and many of her students refer to her room as the "Nat Cave".
