Bland, Lyndria / Overview

Greetings Seahorse Family!

As we come to the end of the first week, I must say that I am pleased to be working with the students of the Seahorse team this year. Normally, you would be receiving an email message update, but we do not have all schedules settled yet, so we are unable to create a distribution list. ABOUT MRS. BLAND
Mrs. Bland received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Family and Consumer Sciences. She went on to have a brief career in banking after graduation. A decision to change careers led Mrs. Bland to Georgia State University where she received a bachelor's degree in middle grades education with concentrations in Science and Language Arts.

Mrs. Bland earned a master’s degree from Central Michigan University in instruction. She has been an educator for 17 years, beginning in the state of Georgia. Mrs. Bland has taught 6^th grade math and science, 5^th grade (all subjects), and she has also served as an elementary math coach.

This year, she is excited to be teaching 7^th grade life science at Stone Hill Middle School for a third year. Mrs. Bland enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and movies. Her passion is to provide an in-depth education for students that includes the opportunity for them to grow as individuals.
