About Mr. Basile
 
Mr. Basile will be teaching Sixth Grade Language Arts. He graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in Education. He student taught and was a long term substitute at Potomac Falls High School in Sterling. He has taught at Mercer Middle School as a Sixth Grade Language Arts teacher and was very proud to open Lunsford last year and still call Lunsford home.

LEO CLUB

Mr. Basile is also the LEO club advisor, along with Mrs. Chudy. LEO is an organization in which the students learn leadership qualities by holding meetings as their own group with their own elected officers. They focus on community service and raising money through various fundraisers for some of their main charities such as seeing-eye dogs and recycled eyeglasses.
