Welcome and Bienvenidos!  My name is Molly Klinge.  This year, 2011 - 2012, I am teaching Spanish I and Spanish II at Simpson.   My undergraduate degree is from Smith College in Massachusetts; I have done graduate work at UVM and St. Michael's College in Vermont, in Colorado at UCBoulder, and in Virginia at UVA and Tech.

Spanish I and II at the middle school are the same courses as those taught at the high school.  Students who are successful (receive a grade of "C" or better) can go on to the second and third level of language study in eighth grade or their freshman year in high school. This is a tremendous advantage for them, and my goal is to try to ensure that everyone is successful.  I try to make the experience challenging and fun, but sometimes it is frustrating and just plain hard work.  If you ever have concerns about your child's progress or lack thereof, please call me at school, or email me.
