Mr. Dungan was born and raised in Richmond County, on Virginia’s Northern Neck.  He is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Secondary Education.  He earned his Master’s degree from The University of Virginia in Educational Leadership and Supervision.  In addition to having taught 7th and 8^th grade English, Mr. Dungan has also served as a dean at both River Bend Middle School and Harmony Middle School.  He now joins the staff of Eagle Ridge Middle School as an assistant principal.
