Murray, Melissa / Overview

This is Ms. Murray's first year teaching at Harmony Middle School, as well as in Loudoun County Public Schools. She attained her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology followed by a Masters degree in Education, and has a Virginia license to teach K-12 grade Students with Disabilities who Access the General Curriculum. Ms. Murray is currently team teaching 8th grade Physical Science with Mrs.VanTassell and Civics with Mrs. Hoppert, as well as self-contained Math 8, English, and Reading Strategies Workshop. She has worked with children for many years prior to teaching and loves live music, cooking, sewing, making crafts, and outdoor activities including backpacking, kayaking, and mountain bike riding. She is proud to be a part of Harmony Hornets and Team Taurus!
